Excellent Location . Close to a wealth of shops and eateries . Comfortable and clean. Superb breakfast with view of Parthenon.Highly recommend. Staff helpful . Room comfortable if a little small .Complimentary wall safe in room also . Extra pillows were available also .

We stayed here for 7 nights and the best thing about this hotel is its location, there is no need to buy any travel pass as its very centrally located and you can almost cover all the major tourist sites on foot. Monastiraki metro station is just 7 to 8 minutes walk. There are many restaurants, bars, grocery stores within 5 minutes walk. We took metro from athens airport to Monastiraki for 16 euros return ticket valid within 30 days. The rooms were nice with average size, it had balcony which was great. Breakfast was average but sufficient. I would like to mention and thanks Miss. Politimi from the rooftop breakfast area. She was very kind and polite. The roof top and the terrace are the best part of this hotel. Only let down was size of the washroom.

The room was old and barely a balcony you can take one step out of. The area did not feel safe at night. The blankets were really old and bathroom very tight. If you are seeking something quiet and budget would be ok

Great location and rooftop views. Located in a bustling area of shops during the day and then minutes away from bars and restaurants at night. Stayed on 5th floor which has been upgraded and room was spacious, bed comfortable, shower great and WiFi strong. Mini Fridge for water and a safe. Good breakfast and staff were great. We were there for athens marathon Weeknd and hotel was full but breakfast was still well supplied.

Evripides Hotel is at the end of the street of that name, which starts at the Athinas market street and which I mainly knew so far as the place to go and buy spices. Further down, near the hotel, there are now many Chinese shops and generally a lot of foreigners are to be found here. Just opposite the hotel though is also the simple, but excellent tavern, known for its 'brizoles', a Greek type of steak. Maybe it has to do with its location, but the Evripides Hotel is of great value and it would be hard to find such quality of an accommodation for the price asked. There are several floors with the upper ones having been renovated and which are now being sold as superiors. On the 7th floor is a bar, where also breakfast is available. Further up, on the 8th floor, one has great views all over Athens, also the Acropolis. Staff at the hotel, especially at the reception, is very helpful and friendly. Psirri area with its many restaurants is very close.
